Classic architecture, elegant interiors, and panoramic views
Set in the historic heart of La Mancha, the El Crespo Estate spans over 10,000 hectares of dramatic plains, valleys, and olive groves. This landscape, shaped by centuries of agricultural tradition, now forms the backdrop to one of Spain’s most prestigious partridge shoots.
The estate was transformed in the 1980s by Don José Manuel Landaluce and his wife María Contreras de Landaluce. They built the main lodge in 1985, establishing El Crespo as a haven for traditional Spanish sport. Its classic architecture, elegant interiors, and panoramic views make it an exceptional home for guests during their stay.
El Crespo quickly earned a reputation as a leading shooting destination. The terrain’s natural contours offer ideal conditions for high, challenging partridge drives. Today, El Crespo is recognised throughout Spain and internationally for its excellence in hosting driven shoots, offering a truly authentic experience.
The estate remains a family-run operation. In the 1990s, Don Pedro de Borbón-Dos Sicilias, Duke of Calabria joined the management alongside his father-in-law. Together with María, they have nurtured a deeply personal, family-led culture of hospitality.
El Crespo has hosted numerous distinguished guests. Yet it remains true to its roots, a place where sporting tradition and personal warmth come together seamlessly.
Today, the Borbón Dos Sicilias Landaluce family continues to welcome guests into the Lodge, offering world-class shooting, fine Spanish cuisine, and the enduring spirit of La Mancha.
