Here at El Crespo, hospitality is held in the highest regard and our on-site lodge offers exceptional accommodation for both shooting and non-shooting guests, combining traditional Spanish charm with modern comfort and thoughtful design. Set within the heart of the estate and surrounded by vast landscapes, the lodge provides an elegant yet homely base from which to enjoy your time at El Crespo.
From the moment you step inside, you are immersed in a space that celebrates both heritage and the sporting lifestyle. The interior is decorated with an impressive collection of hunting trophies from around the world, a reflection of the estate’s deep-rooted traditions and the family’s enduring passion for the sporting life. Styled in a timeless and practical manner, the lodge is designed to offer maximum comfort and ease, with ample space, both communal and private.
The main lodge has 13 spacious double bedrooms, with 8 of these located on the ground floor to accommodate guests requiring easier access. In addition to the main residence, two beautiful lodges offer further accommodation. These were originally constructed to host His Majesty the King of Spain and his entourage when visiting El Crespo, making the phrase “fit for a king” quite literally true.
During your stay, you will be impeccably looked after by José the head butler and their attentive team. A dedicated group of house staff, usually numbering no fewer than nine will be on hand to ensure your comfort throughout your visit.
While staying at the Lodge, the food is an experience in itself. Meals are prepared using fresh, local ingredients, with menus crafted around traditional Castilian cuisine, often slow cooked game dishes, seasonal vegetables, and hand-selected Spanish wines. Of course, the menu is always adaptable to suit the tastes and dietary requirements of your team, and every meal, from breakfast through to dinner, is a relaxed yet refined occasion, typically enjoyed in the warmth of the lodge’s dining room or under the open sky. Should themed dinners be required, they can of course be accommodated without hesitation.
